Make, Do, Mend: Pallet Coffee Table

Pallet Coffee Table

This is a super easy home DIY project for beginners and  also for more experienced dabblers.

All you need is a pallet (we found ours dumped on the side of an industrial road), 4 trolley wheels and some tools.

As we live in a typical English terraced house and our lounge is oh-so-narrow, we decided to make our coffee table a slightly slimmer version to fit our lounge.

However, if you’re lucky enough to have space, you can save yourself from some (sweaty) sawing effort and leave it square.

A bit of sanding and cleaning is probably in order (it definitely was on ours!), especially if you found your pallet on the side of the road.

Then all you have to do is attach the wheels. We got our trolley wheels from Clas Ohlson for £4.99 each.

Making the grand total cost of this DIY coffee table £19.96.

Not bad.
